It was decided to implement an ultraviolet sterilization system to preemptively remove bacteria that could arise from the raw water taken from an uncontrolled surface water source, due to its contact with agricultural lands and settlements without sewage systems. Additionally, a coagulant dosing system was chosen to address turbidity in the water during heavy rains.

The design, installation, testing, measurements, and final preparations of the system for use were completed within 4 working days.
