The raw water, which undergoes pre-chlorination, is passed through a pressurized multimedia sand filter and activated carbon system, then chlorinated to be made ready for use. Filter backwashing is performed using clean water and blower air support.

The project includes an electromagnetic flowmeter, inlet and outlet water turbidity meters, an outlet water pH meter, and chlorine measurement devices.

The system is controlled via a PLC panel, where fault signals, tank full/empty alarms, and faulty valves or equipment can be monitored.
