Reverse Osmosis Systems
Reverse osmosis is a filtration method used to separate potential chemical, physical, and microbiological contaminants from water, aiming to obtain water that is close to pure through a physical process.
Reverse osmosis is the process of passing water at high pressure through a semi-permeable membrane. During this process, water molecules and some inorganic molecules can pass through these pores, while most of the organic and inorganic substances, salts, heavy metals, viruses, and bacteria present in the water cannot pass through these pores and are discharged as concentrate.
SAKA ARITIM engineers design SAROT systems by conducting the necessary water tests. After pre-filtration processes are completed, systems are designed with a water yield of approximately 50-60% through the passage of water through membranes with the help of a high-pressure pump. Mechanical flow meters are placed on the water inlet and outlet lines, and membrane washes are performed with CIP systems based on membrane efficiency. In case of sudden blockages, membrane pores are cleaned chemically by our engineers and team. Membrane protector is used in the systems to extend the life of the membranes.
