Filtration Systems

Filtration systems and advanced treatment technologies are used to remove dissolved and undissolved particles of various sizes, suspended solids, heavy metals, turbidity, and salinity from water.

Activated Carbon Filtration Systems

Activated carbon filtration systems are used for the treatment of unwanted chlorine, color, taste, odor-producing dissolved gases, and organic matter in water.

Automatic filters, with the absorption property of activated carbon, draw water molecules and ions towards their inner surfaces through mineral pores, resulting in water that is free from organic matter, colorless, odorless, and clear. Over time, the pores of activated carbon can become clogged, which means the carbon’s holding pores cannot provide further purification. Therefore, backwashing is used to clean the pores. Filtration systems are automatic and self-backwash.

SAKA ARITIM engineers design SAROT+filtration carbon filtration systems by conducting the necessary water tests. After pre-filtration processes are completed, the systems are designed with a minimum contact time of 3 minutes and a 50% expansion factor. They use valves with spherical heads instead of piston valves, which eliminates the need for high maintenance costs and O-ring replacements. Thanks to programmable automatic backwash valves, the system can perform backwashing at the desired time of the day, at least once every 12 hours.

  • Valves with spherical valves
  • Backwashing with clean water*
  • Backwashing with raw water
  • Programmable automatic backwash
  • Backwash at a desired time of the day*
  • No-bypass during backwash (shutting off the water in the line)
  • Yes-bypass during backwash (not shutting off the water in the line)*
  • Backwash based on differential pressure*
  • Aeration with a blower*

Industrial Systems

These systems are designed for facilities such as factories, social facilities, rural settlements, neighborhoods, towns, etc., with an hourly water consumption ranging from 5 to 20 m³.
